In fact, our developers have produced a JDBC driver for IBM DB2 Everyplace for the Palm months ahead of IBM's planned introduction!

Unity has also produced technology for opportunistic communication. Everyone knows that wireless coverage is not universal. Current "web clipping" applications can only work when there is coverage. Unity has developed Java frameworks to allow applications to run on the Palm and still function even when wireless communication is not available. When coverage becomes available, changes made by the application will be transferred automatically to the server.
