Mobile automation tools empower sales technicians with the capability to order products, display product catalogs and price lists for specific customers. The fundamental characteristic of the solution is the ability to work in both offline and online modes.

Solutions for development tools that enable wireless delivery of sales force processes are based on java applications using VisualAge Micro Edition for Palm Devices. Extensibility to the database is largely provided by the technology from the IBM DB2 Everyplace product.
