Summary
WebSphere Application Server (WAS) has steadily become one of the primary
J2EE application server products. Furthermore, it has become the
foundation of most of IBM's enterprise business products. As such,
familiarity with the product and how it is administered is rapidly
becoming a requirement for many businesses.
In this workshop, we will discuss J2EE application server, and introduce
the WebSphere Application Server family. Attendees will have an
opportunity to use the administrative capabilities of WAS to control
and configure servers, and deploy and test applications. Come and
gain some practical exposure to WebSphere Application Server.
